Please help me understand Route table entry!!

| When I enter a Route Print command on my computer it give lots of
entries in which I am unable to understand the following entry:
Network Destination --Network---Gateway --------Interface
-------Metric
0.0.0.0 --------------0.0.0.0---209.150.252.68--209.150.252.68-----1
Is this entry is for default gateway or for something else? Anyone
please help me understand this.

That is your basic set ...
209.150.252.68 is your gateway and 209.150.252.68 is your address
You should have a 7 or 8 lines under active route. The first column is the
destination ... your network / loopback address / your ip address / gateway
address / subnet address etc .

(In general it would help when you post questions like this to specify which
ver of which os you're running -- different ones format the routing table
print differently. It would also help in this case to include the _entire_
routing table print.)
Assuming you're using w2k or XP, enter the command
ipconfig /all
which, I bet, will show that 209.150.252.68 is the default gateway for
your modem connection. The fact that the default gateway is the same as the
IP address of your machine on the dialup connection is a charming
peculiarity of dialup connections.
