| Which books are best for the MCSE exams?
I'm not a brain dumper and I want to do the work.

This question has been answered before, repeatedly. Why not head on
over to http://groups.google.com and start doing some researching?

Yes why don't I? Grumpy bastard.
Too much trouble for you to make a new person feel welcome?
That sparkling charm is sure to shine for you out in the job market.
Do you sell shoes?

Do you normally insult the people you ask for help?
In my job, I am paid to provide a service. I do that service willingly
and gladly.
On the internet, I answer questions for free. I'm normally glad to help
someone who is willing to do a little work on their end, but when
someone drops into a forum or group and asks a question that five
minutes of search would have found the answer for, I tend to get a curt
response.
Speaking of jobs, if you are willing to go after a MCSE, presumably you
are looking for a job in the computer field. How do you expect to be
proficient at your job if you are unwilling to learn how a search engine
works? Go to groups.google.com, use the advanced search features, and
limit your search to the group 'alt.certification.mcse', the date range
to roughly a year ago (to keep things current) and search for 'book'.
Should probably do the trick.
For future reference, you'll go a lot farther if you demonstrate a bit
of clue in your discourse. Questions such as "I've been doing a bit of
research and have noticed that a lot of people prefer the Sybex
books for the MCSE exams. I've decided to use the Sybex books but I'm
curious - is there any part of the MCSE study or exam process that the
Sybex books don't cover adequately?" is a lot better then "Which books
are the best for the MCSE exam?" [ Assuming people still want to answer
MCSE questions in here, the latest threads seem more concerned with
rants about losing jobs to India. ]

Insult people? No, But in your case I felt profoundly moved. Sorry about that.
Sybex,,,, hummm I do have a line on used Sybex core four, price $78.
I hear they go bare-foot a lot in India.
I wouldn't worry about the jobs going overseas, the first time information
is sold to the highest bidder (Which won't take long - if I know the far east.)
The jobs will come right on back. :-)
