IT people are learning what it is like

| For too many years the IT yuppies thought they were untouchable by the big
companies moving their jobs over seas. They continued to buy foriegn made
products at alarming rates, never giving a second thought to the fact that
for every foreign car they purchased, another ten americans lost their jobs.
Now, you are facing the same plight as the american blue collar sector, even
though the unions tried to warn of this. It is almost impossible to buy any
type of clothing or footwear still made in the United States. There has been
millions of US jobs lost due to large US companies moving production to
countries like Mexico, China, Malaysia, and other sources of cheap labor.
Now this same profit driven mindset is coming to the IT industry. Yes, I am
upset with the short sightedness of the people who took the "screw the
american blue collar worker, I will buy the imported stuff because it is
cheaper" attitude. But now it is time for all americans to band together and
start demanding that the goods and services they pay for come from a
domestic source. Lets all look for the "Made in the USA" and the "Support
provided in the USA" logo's on everthing we buy. The battle cry that came
from the United Auto Workers Union back in the 1980's, "buy American, the
job you save may be your own", still holds true today.
Unless we wake up soon to this fact, we will all be serving burgers, or
worse.....

when they fire workers. Who can use their American Express or Visa card when
they lose their jobs?
The media is keeping the true unemployment rate hidden - it is about 15
percent from many estimates. I have met so many people who are broke who
used to have good jobs and have no idea what they will be doing next. Being
homeless is the next step for many.
Mexifornia is the first disaster we will watch. The Mexicans have taken
wages to nothing and send much of the money out of America rather than spend
it here while draining our social services. You're going to soon see a large
scale exodus from Mexifornia as the minority of whites get tired of paying
for the whole bill.
Liberals have been pissing away America for over 30 years and it is finally
catching up with us at this time.

Ah, the big companies are all run by liberals are they ?
The reality is that this is an extension of capitalism. You get your work
done at lowest cost. It is your responsibility to make as much money as you
can.

Capitalism which means that the US government is supposed to step in when
companies are putting their profits over the good of the people.

They have been doing that for years. The problem you have now is that you
are now in the 'people' who they should work for the good of, whereas
previously you weren't.

I'm a canadian and I have an americain car, I buy my stuff at Wall Mart and
at Home Depot and I bring my kids at McDonald sunday mornings.
