| By the way, do you know any interactive training system specific for
MCSE Core that actually is not Powerpoint like Learnkey or boring as
as CBT videos but that actually gives you hands on practice with
practical exercises. Something likt Test Out simulation but more real?
Sometimes it's hard to build the real scenario. It takes time and
things don't go the way it should in the book.

Im new to all this.
having said that would you say the above is as good as
a real test lab?
Or....how does the above compare to using VMWare?

| vmware is a virtual operating system.. it simulates an OS as if it is
running on a separate machine.
virtual lab is nothing than a simple tool made just to simulate some
concepts in MCSE.. it can be used as a guide for those who are studying for
MCSE.. this is certainly not enuf if you want to practise every single
exercise/concepts in the book.

But would you say that virtual lab is still a god thing
to get?
IOW..... get BOTH "tools"?

| virtual lab is only good if u just want to use it for studying mcse.. vmware
can b used for other things.. for example i use vmaware coz my printer only
works in win98.. so whenever i want to print anything i loadup 98 vmware
virtual machine and use it for printing documents.. as i said b4.. vmware is
a fully working OS and can be used for many things, not just for mcse.

I understand the VMWare is useful for other things than
MCSE.
Question.... can one emulate RIS using only VMWare?
Or is that best done with real NICs and real PCs?
