Backups of LEARNKEY, KEYSTONE, CBT-NUGGETS. Good enough???
|
|

| Hi,
Has anybody of you tested them? I am looking for my MCSE & CCNA exams
but dont have enough money to buy costly cbt's. I have learnt from
them that they are selling backups of LEARNKEY, KEYSTONE, CBT-NUGGETS
etc @$9.95 per CD. Atleast a person like me can afford to buy them (if
they are real and still exist). Just wanted to have an opinion before
making a final decision.
Thanks
Steve

While that is highly illegal and I would not recommend doing it, some
newsgroups like ALT.Binaries.Certs regularly post Learnkey and CBTnuggets
cd images.
As a rule, I scan anything I get from the Internet for viruses. More
than a few Internet sources have tried to burn me. Norton is the best.

| What annual salary do you hope to make once you get your MCSE?

| Well, I haven't thought much about that yet. At the moment my concern
is to get through these exams. But anyway, it should be enough to get
the things running :-)

| Why do you want to get MCSE certification? If you have no salary
requirements in mind, then what are you trying to accomplish?

| smiff, I agree with you. Anyway, thanks to you guys who replied here
on board and those who e-mailed me. Although some of those
dis-heartened me that i will be losing my money and nothing will ever
appear. But Hurrah !!! I took the risk and suprisingly my CDs arrived
just today. It was my best deal to date and I am very pleased with
their service. Very nice packing & a speedy service. ITCERTUS, I am
your regular customer now. Thanks for the deal :-)

| Salary is NOT everything. But when you are only willing to invest $9.95 in
your career and your future, I am just curious what you expect the return on
that investment to be.

| Mark, I wish I had such an amount that I could afford and I could
spend in my career. But alas! things are not like that. They were
"life saver" for me, otherwise a guy like me would have ever dreamed
of getting such stuff for education. But thanks to them that ppl like
me can also learn this type of top notch education related material.

As far as spending a lot of money, you do not really have to.
A lot of websites offer free training. One I like is
freetechtraining.com- free online videos. There are many others.
Also, check out your Barnes and Noble discount section. They recently
had the Windows 2000 Core Virtual Trainer pack for $20.
Also, go to Half Price Books and get discount books and software. One
local store has Sybex MCSA Virtual Sim for $40.
There are plenty of bargains to be had if you look in the right places.
Many, many free on line resources. And I mean legitimately free, not
alt.binaries news groups or Kazaa.

| Bullschtik. You and your type are the scum of the IT world. You are the
filthy, disheveled, rhuemy-eyed wino of the Web begging for a handout,
stealing for pennies, smelling of urine and rotten teeth.

| You are a liar, a thief, and a scam artist. Randal Hall and Tom were trying
to offer advice to someone they felt was legitimately looking for study
material. They may very well be a bit annoyed when they realize your game
has nothing to do a personal search for knowledge.
You think that was "NICE"? You ain't seen nuthin yet.

| Just wanted to share with you guys out there, that I have passed rest
2 core exams (70-216 & 70-217) also :-) I am so happy. Although I
couldn't do as good as I was expecting, but anyway I am through. Now
on to electives. Any help/suggestion which electives should I choose.
By the way, not forgetting to mention that Learnkey & CBT-nuggets I
bought earlier helped me a lot.....
Steve.

You must be a real dumbass to score anything less than full score with the
