ok i get the picture now. read the FAQ's in mcsa site.

Exam 70-218: Managing a Microsoft Windows 2000 Network Environment tests a
candidate's skills in administering and supporting an existing Windows 2000
network. These skills include the ongoing tasks involved in managing network
resources, the network infrastructure, server and client computers, disaster
prevention and security, Active Directory services and Group Policy, and
remote client access.

I know it is redundant, but after taking 210,215, 216 and 219 core for
the MCSE and then looking at 218 for a MCSA and seeing no new knowledge,
it would seem that passing 210,215,216, and 219 should suffice for the
MCSA requirements. But then I guess this is another way Microsoft can
generate a little more revenue.

70-218 is a lite version of 70-216 and 70-217. It combines the AD
topics of 217 with the infrastructure of 216 without the extra details.
So if you have studied for 216 anf 217, then 218 should be a pice of
cake.

yea just passed it today

it was one of my fastest finish.. i completed the whole exam in 1:15 min!!

i got to say i came across some questions where i had practically no clue!
there was this security group called Group policy creater owner security
group?? whats that? i never read anything about it in the MS press book!
and there was sumthin about kerebros pre-authentication!!! again, no idea
wat that is!

anyways, overall i rate the exam very easy.. other than those weired
questions.. mainly the exam tests ur skills on managing permission and dns
servers etc!

use transcenders!!! i give them *****
i dont think i would have passed the exam without that
i highly recommend transceder and cramsession study guide for this exam is
not that good, they leftout lot of things! and they have included some stuff
that you dont need to know!!

got one more exam to become mcsa!!!
i have decided to take exchange first and then do 216
