| HI there,
I am considering MCSE certification but would like to know whether
prospective employers prefer candidates that have sat through the relevant
Microsoft Official Curriculum courses over those that have just taken the
exams, or been through unoffical courses.
I know the CTEC's that provide these courses charge a lot more, but is it
worth it?
Kind regards,
Ben

| to be honest from what I have seen all employers want is the certificate and
the new hire to have the skills associated with the paper regardless of how
they got those skills.
Depending on your background and ability to self study I would say unless
you really need the structure of an classroom do it on your own and keep the
money in your pocket.

| The key is to know the product and to be able to perform, not just a 'paper'
cert. Having experience to go with the cert is how it was designed and is
what people really look for.
Good Luck.
