Dual Boot question - help appreciated

| Hi all,
A quick query if someone could confirm. I have a machine with a 6GB NTFS
Basic disk running
Xp Professional with 2.6GB of free disk space. Can I do a straight Windows
2000 Pro install
into another directory thus allowing me to boot to either win2kPro or Xp.
Hope I have provided
enough info. Many thanks in anticipation.

| Yes and no. Yes you can dual boot Windows XP and 2000, but no you can't put
2000 into another directory - it has to go onto another partition. Suggest
that you get hold of some partitioning software (Partition Magic or
Partition Manager), partition your drive, and then install 2000. Windows
2000 install will see XP and give you the option to set up a dual boot
system using the new partition.
