Author My MCP secure site profile details keep changing!!!!!

Hi,

This is really getting to me. The situation is that whenever I enter my new
email address into the MCP secure site profile, this gets changed back to
the original email after a few days. I contacted Microsoft and they told me
that Prometric is synchronizing its (prometric) with the Microsoft database
and writing new information to the Microsoft database. So whenever I make
changes on the secure site, after a few days prometric overwrites those
changes with its own data. This is also happening on the Cisco site! My
Cisco details keep getting overridden. Cisco has told me the same deal, that
Prometric updates the Cisco database with its own details. So I ring up
Prometric and ask them what is going on. They tell me they have all my
updated details, including my new email address, and they don't have any of
my old data. They got all my current records, and have had it for the past 2
months. So I don't know what is going on. No i don't use VUE and never have
tested under them. This is so frustrating. Would anyone know what is going
on?

Any help would really be appreciated!

Cheers,
Peter

Prometric doesn't know how to maintain a database to save their lives
and I wouldn't believe a word they say on this issue. I speak from
experience.

i second that thought. promatric is pain in the butt and provides crappy
services these days. the failed to delivered 2 scheduled exams to me, 2 in a
row. the exams were simply not available at the testing centres at scheduled
time becuz of their crappy hardware problems. if u complain (and i did),
they would probably compensate u with an exam of no charge, but u have to
make sure they send u a letter right away to confirm the compensation becuz
they would tell u later on that there is no such promise (yes, it happened
to me too)!

I have the same problem too. Basically, when I change the profile details,
it seems OK. But few days or weeks later, then it will change back to the
old profile details again. And it will override Microsoft profile details.
Prometric sucks... but VUE sucks either
(Because the VUE website does not allow anyone to update their profile
details through the website, unless you send email to request them to update
maually)
