| One of my customer requested me to block the msn messenger on her computer
which is on a network with another computer. The network is using a Dlink
router which has firewall capabilites. I tried to block the port 80; it
blocks the internet connection, but not the msn messenger. How can I block
the msn messenger. Any ideas?

| msn messenger does not run on port 80.
I think its port 1863
However another way is if you actually block the servers
ie. baym-cs42.msgr.hotmail.com
It will be an extensive list tho
If it is only one computer, then you could unistall the messenger program
on that particualar computer
