I honestly can be bothered reading text books anymore. I have studied and
read textbooks for 20years including University and I think its about time I
need a break The question is, would it be enough to pass the MCSE exams with
video's like CBT nugget and practice the configurations on a real W2k
server? Or would I be missing something if I dont read books?

Thanks for any advice.

How long is a peice of string?

I think it will really depend on you and your history, if you have used the
operating system for 2 years in a corporate and home enviroment and there is
nothing you cant do without visiting google then yes, the vids may well be
enough.

Unpack the disk and install it once, watch the videos, expect to waste your
money.

Personally I spead read a book through from Sybex, then watch the cbtnuggets
and finally do as many free online tests as I can to make sure I am at the
level I need. This is my personal choice, you could just do the vids then do
a few online tests and see how you go then maybee an overview book such as
one of the cramsessions from queue if needed. Then again with the A+ I
watched the first video, never opened the book and passed both the new
harder 2003 exams one after the other first time, but then I have been
building and repairing computers for in excess of ten years!

Whatever you choose, good luck and all the best.
