| Any recommendations on which design test to take? I have over ten year exp
in IT but not a ton of experience in enterprise level design issues...mostly
smaller networks and single domain setups. This is my last test. I started
taking the tests in May this year, and have passed them all....so I am
confident in my knowledge of 2k...I just don't know which one to take for
the design exam.
I have seen books that have high user ratings that claim to prep for all
exams....but I don't want to waste time reading and prepping for other
topics.

| if you took 217, then i would recommend 219 (active directory services) as a
design exam. i found this exam to be relatively easy having taken 217 the
week before. i will be taking 221 soon but already anticipate that 219 is
the easier design exam of the two. depends on what your strengths and
weaknesses are.

| I had the MS Press book. If you get it you can pretty much skip the first
couple of chapters, it's all repeat from the material for 217. Also you
don't need to read all the stuff about forms that you should fill out to
plan active directory services. It's good stuff to know but won't be on the
exam. You should also get some legit practice test case studies. Case
studies are loooong, so you should familiarize yourself with their layout
and how do get the information you need which may be buried in there. Good
