| The only thing I did was post a message in this news group and I am getting
incoming mail at a rate of 15 to 20 a day now infected with viruses. Is
everyone else having the same problem. In my opinion this is annoying. I
guess it is a good thing I keep my antivirus software up to date.

| I accidently posted with a new news reader a few months back and had the
same problem. You need to modify your email address when you post on
usenet. For instance, my email is not noone@nowhere.net. Some folks will
add "nospam" to their email addresses. Using your boss' home email address
is always popular <joking>. The good news is that is should taper off in a
few weeks. It's been about 6 weeks since my incident and I haven't received
any spam in the last week or two. I set the filters on my email to just
dump anything with an attachment in the trash.

Looking at the headers from your message, it looks like you are posting
with an unmodified email address.
The SPAM harvesters pull out the email addressses from the newsgroup
messages.
Take a look at my return email address. It has been modified to slow
down the harvesters.
Good luck
