Stupid question about Ipconfig
|
|

| This might seem like a really stupid question but when I type ipconif /all
using "run" it pops up and goes away so quickly that I cant even read the
details? How do I keep it on the screen?
| |
|
| switch to the command prompt before you run it.

using "run" type: cmd
then type: ipconfig /all
for a cut and paste-able text file, type: ipconfig /all > c:\ipconfig.txt
this will create a text file with your ipconfig information in it. it's
helpful for showing others your information so they can help with
configuring your needs.

Start -> Run -> cmd
Run it from there, not the start menu

| Try typing cmd or command for 9x clients, inside of that run box.
From there type ipconfig /all it will stay

| What about "WINIPCFG"? Is that only available on Windows 95/98/98SE?
