Hi,

I am working as tech support in Windows 2000/XP. I am not system or
network administrator. So i don't have much experience with Server. I
know Windows 2000 Professional well. I have about 3 years of
experience in supporting Microsoft Operating systems.
Now i want to do MCSE. I have few questions...!!

1. Can i do it without any practical experience in servers?
2. How long it will take? I work Full-Time, But i could spend about
15-20hr per week.
3. How do i prepare for MCSE exams? I Can't afford expensive traning
course. What are my alternatives? Books, Any good reading materials,
Anywhere on the Web, any Websites where can i find Q&A for test???
What would be chippest way to do this?

Thank you for your time...

Sam

Check out the Sybex titles, including either the MCSA Core Requirements
(http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/t...=1066082914/sr=
8-1/ref=sr_8_1/002-8701482-4616017?v=glance&s=books&n=507846) or their MCSE
Certification Kit
(http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/t...=1066082977/sr=
1-17/ref=sr_1_17/002-8701482-4616017?v=glance&s=books), which will be out
later this month.

The Sybex books are well laid out, and come with numerous hands on exercises
and review questions, in addition to an exhaustive coverage of every exam
objective. Getting the hands on experience is paramount in getting your
certification, and these books provide it. In addition, both these products
come with Eval versions of Windows 2003 and 4 bonus exams per test (a total
of 16 different bonus exams).
