Hi guys

For those of you who live in CA. Any opinions about IT job market this
year? Is it gonna be better? or Worse. Let me know what you think.

I know in general Jan. in slow... it usually picks up a little in Feb. even
in good econ.

I left my previous job before they let me go. I have 4 + in IT. I'm only
one exam away from MCSE -- Which doesn't have that good of reputation.

Hopefully it'll pick up this year... for everyone's sake.

I'm seeing an increase in "real" job offerings on both Dice and Monster. A
couple of recruiters I know are noticing a difference too.
As far as the MCSE rep not being good. I can't count the number of
interviews I didn't get because all my stuff was in the NT track...lots of
companies simply won't talk to desktop or server people without a w2k or xp
mcp. There are too many people out of work and they figure they can get
certified people for a bargain right now.
