| Hello Everyone,
Sorry this is such a newbee question, but it been bothering me for awhile. I
had setup a trail version PDC Winnt 4.0 Server sp6, and 2 Win2K pro.
workstations LAN. I had my d:\shared on the PDC, and got the Win2K pro.
client to deletted some files of the shared network drive off the PDC.
My question begin:
End User delette files off the network storage from a shared partition hard
drive of the Primary domain controller with full administrator privilage.
Why doesnt the deletted file that the end user deletted show up at the PDC
"Recycle Bin"? Where does it goes? I cant find it. Its diffinitely not on
the client workstation Recycle bin. Is there a place where it goes to when
it is deletted over the network? Theres probably a simple answer to
this..right?
Please explain.

| It vanishes into thin air.......it doesnt go to the recycle bin anywhere.
Hence the reason for backing up your data on a server.
Other way to recover it is to try some recovery programs that you can get
say from download.com, but if those deleted files have been overwritten and
no backup then say goodbye to your data.
