Task Scheduler problems

| I use XP Pro, am the administrator and signed on as such...no network, only
user on my computer, not set to sign on with a password. I have two hard
drives both NTFS, main h.d. has two primary partitions, slaved drive also
primary partitioned.
My problem is using the win backup utility and scheduling it for a weekly
full backup on Sundays at 2 a.m., all the other days I've scheduled a
differential backup for 2 a.m., have the password set, set the options for
verification/logging, followed the Scheduled Backup Help files to the
letter, yet, when I go to the control panel the tasks start, Never! I have
the backups set to write to the slaved drive.
Has anyone else encountered this problem and found a related KB article or
other solution? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
LeAnne

| Never mind, everyone. Got it figured out. Someone over at computing.net
told me I needed to log on with a password as any scheduled tasks will not
work without one. Shoulda figured, as it is a security minded OS. Got the
info from: http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...kb;en-us;310715 if
anyone else has had problems, as such.
