| I achieved my MCSE 4.0 about 2.5 years ago. At the time, I was working for
a Network solutions provider (hardware, software, troubleshooting, etc.).
Since that time, my job situation changed and the need and ability to pay
for current certifications also changed.
I'm now working for a company where the technology needs are less than what
I'm used to. NT 4.0 server, workstation and Office '97 are the platform
here, the company has no plans to update technology.
In my attempt to move toward a greater challenge, I've been fortunate enough
to land interviews but have had no offers. I'm falling behind.
I intend to re-commit myself to investing my time and money into updating
my certifications.
What is the value of an MCSE 2000 today?
What is the expected lifetime of this certification?
Am I correct in assuming that my MCSE NT 4.0 certification, while certainly
valid, doesn't provide any credit or assumed level of knowledge?
