Passed 70-216 on 2nd try!

| Finally passed the Network Infrastructure exam on the 2nd try. This was
definitely a tough one.
What really helped me the most was creating my own RRAS server, VPN server,
DHCP, DNS, Active Directory and letting my friends log in remotely.

| cool. what did the exam concentrate on most or was it pretty spread out?
im studying for this exam now along with 217 hoping to take them both in
around 8 weeks time.
Iv got 2 servers setup with AD and a client laptop, also getting friends to
conect to VPN over internet.
I need to get my head 100% around CIDR and subnetting. I can do it but only
basic stuff so far.
But im hoping to pass 1st time on both.

| The exam seemed to cover all of the topics section-by-section. Several
questions on RRAS, then DHCP, DNS, WINS, IPsec, Certificate Authorities,
Active Directory and Subnetting among some other topics.
Be sure to know your subnetting tables cause it will save you time when
answering questions regarding what sub. mask to use with X number of users
and the like.
Cheers,
Tsunami
