Question: what is a good cert to get after MC$E?

| Hi all,
I have my MCSE in Windows 2000 and Windows NT 4.0. I am trying to decide
what would be the next best skill to learn. I am thinking of getting either
my CCNA or MCDBA. I currently work for a company and support SQL, but I am
not sure if there is a future with this company. I live in Utah and there
doesn't seem to be too many IT jobs available and there is a lot of
competition. Any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated.

| MCDBA is a good cert to have. I am 1 test away myself, and I'm already
getting contacted to do SQL work. It's not as easy as it seems, though.
70-228 was not too tough, but 70-229 is no walk in the park. You'll need to
know a lot more T-SQL code than you get just doing the day-to-day work
administering SQL servers. I'm using the WROX book "Programming SQL Server
2000" as my foundational study material, with the Sybex SQL Server 2000
design (70-229) book to prep for the exam.
Best of luck whichever way you go...

A+ has been a requirement for many positions that I have seen.
