| Is there a way I can log into a server running TS and not have that servers
startup files run?

Depends:
Are you talking about the "logon scripts" for TS? IS this TS also a DC?
Or, do me mean logon scripts via group policy?
Lots o' directions...

| Well if you are running Windows XP PRO the TS client portion is loaded by
default. It is called "Remote Desktop Connection". But if the machine is
running Win 2000, 9X, NT the client portion needs to be installed.
