| How long does it take, on an average, for someone to study the material and
take the tests. I realize there are many factors but just to get a feel.
What should I give myself as far as time to take all the tests.
Thanks,
Scott

I took a month for each core (stuff I already knew). 6 weeks for the AD
design (should have taken one week had I known how easy it was). And 2
months per elective on products I don't normally use.
But then I'm lazy.

I averaged about three weeks between tests. That went from a low of
two weeks on topics I felt were easy up to four weeks on tougher
topics or when I was travelling for work quite a bit. For me it was
some easier being that I work with the technology already. If you
don't work with Windows networking technology from day to day you
should plan on at least twice as long.
To see the study materials I used, take a look at:

Good luck!

| It all depends on how much time you have to study. Someone who is working a
60 hour a week job will probably need a lot more time than someone who is
unemployed. A rough approximation might be 100 hours of study time but it
varies a lot depending on your previous experience and the difficulty of the
exam that you are taking.
