Hi All

MCSE/MCSA - WHERE TO START ?

1) 70-270 (xp pro) - dont do 70-210 you are covering same stuff + a lot of
company's are using xp workstations
and bypassing window 2000 pro, to be user friendly for people who use Xp
Home user.

2) 70-215 (server) need to take before 70-216

3) 70-216 (network Infrus) next step

4) 70-217 (Dir Infrus) final core

5) 70-218 (Managing a Windows 2000 Network Evironment)

These Exams are all Multi-choice 50-60 Questions per Exam

This will make you MCSA (actually 1,2,3, + 5 )

6) 70-222 (Migrating Nt 4 to Windows 2000) prepares you for 70-219

7) 70-219 (Active Dir Design) pretty similar to 70-222

Both 6 and 7 are Case study exams - so prepare yourself

you get approx 4-5 Case study's per exam - with 9 - 11 Questions per Case
study

I would suggest 70-270 to start 1 - 7 in that order

good place to get Books on MCP Exams

Always use MIcrosoft press Books
they nearly always give you 120 day release versions of Windows Software to
complete training kit

below is link to web site where they sell these books about 35-40% off
listed price

http://www.bookpool.com/.x/7xji77xoa6/ho

Also a good book shop in Poole Dorset England
they sell Microsoft books for around £15.00 - bankrupt stock

That is if you live in England ?

http://www.omnibooksuk.co.uk

Then you should be confident for 70-221 + 70-224

I am at present Studying 70-228 (SQL) + 70-227 (ISA)

Below are the Exams I have taken:

C.N.A. 5 Novell Administration

70-222

MCP - Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft® Exchange 2000
Server 70-224

P.S. you have CCNA Cisco - is that 640-507 or 640-607

I am thinking of having a go at 640-607
I have stidied 640-507

but was too late to take exam - exam now has simulator in it ?

Hope I have been of some help
