Author trouble joining a computer to a domain

Hi, I've recently started to study for the Professional & Server test
in my spare time.
I have set up a server with a static IP of 192.168.0.1 and laptop
(running 98) with 192.168.0.5. I have a 3rd computer that has gotten
an IP of 192.168.0.6. All have a subnet of 255.255.255.0
I have a dial up connection so I have the domain set up as local.
Here is the problem. Server and laptop can see each other and
are on the domain. 3rd computer can see (ping) the others but will
not join the domain. I get an error that says the network path was
not found when I try to join the domain.
The event viewer on the server gives me and error of

Deregistration of the DNS record
'Idap._tcp/Default-First-Site-Name._sites.gc._msdcs.Fogel. 600 IN SRV
0 100 3268 rj.Fogel' failed with the following error

DNS bad key

5 times in a row

No other errors on the list. I assuming this is related but
unsure what I need to do outside of reloading (which I've gotten fast
at but would like to avoid).
Any help or hints here would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Ryan
