Hi:

I finished my MCSE NT4.0 a few years back by taking the Windows 95
rather than the Windows NT workstation. I understand that disqualify
me from taking the 70-240. So I am working on all 7 exams right now.

A friend of my said that since he took the NT 4.0 workstation for his
MCSE NT 4.0, all he needs to do now is pass the 4 Windows 2000 core
exams, instead of all 7, and he will be MCSE2K.

Is that correct? If that is the case, then do I have to pass all 7
exams or did I miss something that will enable me to take fewer number
of exams rather than all 7? Or is my friend mistaken?

I tried looking at the MS site but could not find any clarification.

Thanks for all the input, appreciated.
