Thanks again to those who replied to my Recycle bin problem. But does
no-one have any ideas on the printer problem. I am inserting the query
below for convenience.

I have published a printer on a 2KPro machine in the AD. Yet 24 (now 48)
hours later it still is not there and sharing properties says it's still
in progress. I have unpublished and republished a few times. I have
published another printer on an XP machine and that appeared almost
immediately. Any ideas how I can get both to appear?
