Interesting Idea, but how???
|
|
|
| Not gonna tell why, but can it be done?
I have a small network setup at home with high-speed internet access and a
pretty static IP that only changes every 3-4months. My idea is to log onto
my network from the place I spend my days and view my emails from there,
maybe IM too Is this possible with Win2K or WinXP Pro? I cannot install
any software on my day place computer.
Thanks!

| Seconded....look into setting up a VPN for you. The VPN will allow you to
access your network in a semi-secure fashion...although even THAT can be
debated.

| I suggest you abandon your idea!
if it's the company you work for (day place) they have a reason for not
letting
you load programs onto THEIR machines.
Leave your personal business at home!
