| Has anyone encountered a problem with XP being unable to boot? even though
it was working fine and there are no viruses ( known ones) present? Any info
would be a help.

| Sorry mate no much info there! It runs its setup scripts and is just about
to get to the log-on screen when it reboots again.
This cycle coninues until i intervene. I do get a blue screen with some
text, but it flashes by so quick i cannot read any of it. i hope this is of
help.
I did bypass it by installing a second copy in a partion and deleting the
first copy, but i would like info incase of a reaccurence

| no idea now, most probably a bad driver aceesing protected memory, you could
of got around it by selecting last known good configuration as u never
actually logged in so it should have been ok.!

| Tried it mate but no sucsess. But i think your right with your thinking.
System seems stable now, cannot find any probs at all. I guess it was a
freak event?
