Does anyone know how long it takes microsoft to send
a MCP Certificate. I passed 70-210 two weeks ago through
Prometric. Is it 4 to 6 weeks or sooner?
Thanks

Yeah they ask you to give it that long to turn up before contacting them I
think. I waited 2 months before I complained about my missing MCSE cert and
they are very prompt in sorting it out.

By the way you aren't missing much. A plastice credit sized card, a little
lapel pin thing and a glossy cert is all that you get so don't get too
excited about it

It's all automated. Not all the certs are as well automated. For instance
CompTIA ones you have to do a bit of work to get them to talk to each other
but the M$ ones are better. Unless you're unlucky and they screw up of
course and it does happen occasionally.

Yep, 4 - 6 weeks. Although, in the past, I have receibved them sooner.
You should have received a congratulatory email from them.

Thanks for all the help. I contacted Microsoft and found out that they had an
incorrect Email address for me so I never received MCP info. They gave me my
MCP # and said the Certificate and Welcome kit should come in 4-6 weeks.
By the way, I got my CompTia A+ certificate in under 2 weeks and Net+ even
Quicker. I guess its just luck
Thanks
