| Hello,
i'm using suse7.2 together with kde2.
now i want to install kde3 so i've downloaded from ftp.kde.org all files
for my distribution.
what my question is now, how must i install als these files. maybe i'm
not able to follow the install docu i've found at www.kde.org.
can someone explain me how i have to install it.
By the way i'm a linux novice.

Close X, log in as root on the console
# cd /home/you/newkdepackages
# rpm -Uvh *.rpm
As far as I know, that should do the trick. Dunno exactly, I'm using debian
myself.
Let us know if it worked!
