Workaround exist for Via 4-in-1's?

| I just realized VIA does not write any of the 4-in-1 chipset
instructions for Linux, windows only. If I want to install Linux on a
Via mobo how do I get around this? Or do I just buy a SiS mobo
instead? Thanks all.

Have had zero problems running numerous flavors on my SOYO board with VIA
chipset, just go with it.
