Is there a driver to be had a I/O Magic 66 IDE controller card? I went to
their web site and they said there was not one developed for it. This
controller is based on the Promise ultra 66 chip. Is there an open source
linux driver for such a card? I have looked, but have not found one.

You might try recompiling your kernel with the "Promise
PDC202{46|62|65|67|68} support" option enabled (see the quoted Help text
below).
