Hello,

I have been fiddling around a few weeks now to get my firewire harddrive to
work on my computer.
I am using a firewire adapter card from Advance Peripherals (that I
confirmed to be working with libraw and gscanbus). I understand that this
card is ohci1394 compatible.

When plugging in the harddrive I am modprobing ohci1394 and sbp2 with the
results shown in a typical log. I suspect that the transfer size warning
does not matter too badly. I would rather say that the timeout is caused by
something else, that I do not understand.

Does anybody has a suggestion??

Thanks a lot for your help!

mike
