HELP!! Trying to uninstall Lindows - HOW??
|
|
| Steve Mann 2002-06-30, 6:25 am |
| Did a friendly install. Co-existing with W98 ok. But now need to
uninstall it.
What is the procedure to do a clean uninstall of Lindows? I cannot
find any executable on the CD - or an option to remove at setup.
TIA,
Steve

Results 1 - 10 of about 540,000. Search took 0.66 seconds.

Anyone with knowledge of Lindows SP2 know what the procedure is to
uninstall it cleanly - other that the brute force delete and fdisk...

Make a DOS rescue disk in dos.
verify it boots AND can load fdisk.
boot lindows, use it's fdisk to remove the lindow partitions.
load the above rescue disk and do a
fdisk /mbr
