Hi Linux Gurus

Recently, I was made aware of a proggie called OptUse5. The program is only
of use to Optus CableNet users in Australia, using Micro$tuft Windoze.

This proggie monitors netstats and makes an estimation in real time as to
what your netstats will be for the day. It apparently can also warn you
when usage goes high.

Unfortunately, it is a windoze proggie only. Does n e 1 know how I can run
it on my Mdk 8.2 box? I know nothing about programming ... and WINE i have
had no success with at all.

Here is the URL of the proggie: http://members.optushome.com.au/intabits

Maybe the program can be adapted for linux use. I dont know whether the
author would allow it or not, but, it would certainly help us linux users.

I just wonder, if I can get it to work on my linux box AND if it was
installed on my internet computer, whether it would monitor ALL usage on
our home LAN (3 pc's)????

I would be interested in your views and thank you in advance for your
thoughts,

regards
krONik
