I would like to change from a dual boot WinSE/Desktop LX to a single
boot Desktop LX system. Of course I have no clue as to how to do tthis
or where to look for instructions. All assistance will be greatly
appreciated. Please keep in mind that I am Linux challenged.

Easiest way is to re-install. Next way is to reformat your windows
partition and just delete the
Windows option from lilo or grub (or whatever you use.)

here is a start:

what I did, was unmounted the windows drive in linux, ran diskdrake,
formated it to ext2, and gave it a mount point ( I used /home2, for
temporary usage). The diskdrake modifed the /etc/fstab okay, and I
lastly ran /sbin/lilo (as the windows partition was hda at the time, I
had to replace the boot sector, after deleting the windows boot option
from lilo ).

Many thanks and apologies to all who have responded. I should have
indicated that mine is a 2 drive system with WinSE on the 1st drive and
Linux on the 2nd.
