RH 7.2 - no data flow using Kppp

| Hi all
I'm having a problem with my linux box using Redhat 7.2.
Previously I have been having no problems at all with Dialup, using Kppp,
but tonight I dialed up and everything goes well; I am connected. However I
could not receive data; I tried KMerlin, ICQ, Browsing. None work, the LIcq
network window told me the address could not be resolved, as did my browser.
I've tried reconfiguring the firewall using Gnome lokkit, I've tried
Firewall-config, I've tried disabling ipchains services, as well as
iptables.. still no dataflow.
Have I broken it somehow? Any help would be appreciated.
Marcel.

This is just a stab, but has something happened to your /etc/resolv.conf
file? I never liked kppp because it would temporarily modify that file
while it was being run (I prefer /etc to be static). It is possible
that it somehow blew the file away.
By the way, how 'bout not crossposting.
