How do setup my network in debian... there is no netconfig (as in Slackware)

Is the a packagetool (like Slackware) to install individual packages
without using dselect ?

thanx

Edit /etc/network/interfaces

I don't know about Slackware, but there are many tools, like apt-get and
dpkg.

That's because netconfig is a Slackware-specific script.
Most of the *config scripts are Pat's own frontends to the standards tools
in *nix. (Example: adduser -> useradd)

Yes, it's called 'apt-get'.
(Why the hell am I answering Debian questions now? =)

Nope, sorry.
I'm allergic to communistic distributions-
They give me a rash.
