There is no such rule except in Paul's mind. Post to relevant
newsgroups. Remember that it can get tiring seeing the same post in many
similar newgroups, but that very few people read different types of
newsgroups. Eg, posting your query in a couple of linux newsgroups, a
blind people newsgroup, etc would be fine.
Multiposting is often both acceptable and desireable.
