RH 8.0 install problems

| Hi !
Tried to install Red Hat 8.0 now twice, and it hang itself at the same place
when it has started to install the packages. First it just rebooted for no
reason.
Second time there where two led's on my keyboard (MS Natural Keyboard pro)
that started blinking and the installation halted ???????
Never had the same problem with either SuSE 8.1 or Debian 3.0.
Just wanted to try out the new version of Red Hat :-(, Anyone with the same
problem.
Another strange thing is that my Num Lock led blinks before any OS starts.
Second OS on the computer is Win XP.
Have that on a seperatly harddrive.

Have you tried the "media check" ?
Maybe a bad CD...

I have heard three recent stories about RH 8.0 simply not installing,
and another two of it installing but locking the computer up solid
when X started.

| I had the same problem with my downloaded copy of Red Hat 8. I bought it
on CD from www.linuxcentral.com (they call it "Linux 8.0"- because it's
not officially licensed from redhat, and they only charge around $10.) It
wa a lot easier than dealing with the big downloads.
