If you want to look up computer related terms, FOLDOC is great.
<URL:http://foldoc.doc.ic.ac.uk/foldoc/index.html>
There's also the famous Jargon File:
<URL:http://www.tuxedo.org/~esr/jargon/>
Whatis.com is also full of stuff.

| Hi!
Probably you can find most of computer terminology in
http://whatis.techtarget.com/ altough this is not a Linux dictionary.
Some are names created by companies. I'm not quite sure but I suppose
that RPM stands fot RedHat Package Manager because it was a standard "de
facto" created by RedHat.
You can also search The Linux Documentation Project http://www.tldp.org/
to find out some Linux-specific meanings and specifications.
Regards,
Manuel
