Red Hat 8.0: Problems with man

| Hi, hard to believe, but the man command is not working since I upgraded
from RH 7.3 to 8.0.
I get the following error message:
/usr/bin/nroff: invalid option -c
I can't figure out why this is happening. the man pages are in
/usr/share/man/ and xman displays them just fine...
thanks

Did you install using the normal options? Did you update from an earlier
version without making a clean, full install (suggested by your mesage)?
Are you in the habit of being logged on as root? Have you tried to force a
re-install of nroff et. al. using the provided rpm?
These are just guesses, because the error can result from any number of
problems.

It was an "upgrade" from 7.3 to 8.0, that's all I did. I don't login as
root usually, I did not force a re-install of nroff. I guess I will try
and reinstall it now
thank you

Upgrade nroff, or man. On eor the other!

What's so hard to figure? Man is passing an option to nroff that
it doesn't understand.
