Ok i'm running RH 7.3 as a PPP server or trying to. I have a HSF modem when
i install the driver for it it says that i need to run the HSFCONFIG (when
running the program it says "unable to find device"). I put in my vender ID
and my PCI ID. And it says that my serial port is ttySHSF0 or /dev/modem,
then i try
SETSERIAL -g /dev/ttySHSF0
and
SETSERIAL -g /dev/modem
and both say something like unable to find device or something like that.
Is it normal or something wrong i did? But in all the tuts it says to use
ttyS2 b/c i have 2 serial ports on my Mobo. So which should i use ttyS2 or
ttySHSF0?
I'm almost a 100% i have the right drivers too.
Kernel 4.18-3
Jumperless modem
It's like a Rockwell
vender id:127A
PCI id: 2013
