I thought, there might be something like PartitionMagic, or a package that IBM
provides to enhance linux's capabilities in that respect.

1. Don't top post.

2. Partitioning is not the problem. After perfect and careful partitioning,
Linux will still not be able to read/write the partition. It's like a
perfectly maintained car ... in the hands of someone who cannot drive.

It isn't as though the system is not telling you what its limitations are.
