Does anyone know how I can get Lycoris Linux Desktop/LX to recognise a
mouse! (any mouse).
I have tried 9 different mice, optical, PS/2, serial, USB and none work.
All mice work on a Winblows PC.
Lycoris Desktop /LX looks great for a Linux newbie used to XP! If only I
had a mouse!
Sometimes after bootup the mouse pointer sits in the centre of the screen,
but as soon as I touch the mouse it dissapears. Other times the pointer just
sits there, but wont move when the mouse is moved.
Thanks

You haven't offered any useful information. In this information-rich
environment, all I can say is "something is wrong."
What kind of computer do you have, sir? What version of Lycoris (there are
two in circulation now)?

You must edit your /etc/X11/XFconfig86
At the mouse config part you must chance /dev/mouse or /dev/ptty to
/dev/psaux
This will solve your problem.
