I am auctioning the following 5 items that I've accumulated as a
Novell Instructor and a self-employed CNE:

Netware 5 --

1. Student Manuals – These are the books for instructor led courses,
and not necessarily for self study. They are designed to provide you
with all the information you need to pass the certification test for
each particular manual / class, and I have added notes where I felt
the manuals did not adequately cover test material. I have not taken
an upgrade test to Netware 6x, nor have I used 6x, so I do not know
what these books have to offer someone strictly interested in prepping
for a career with Netware 6x. All paper books (a, b, c, d) are well
used but remain in fair to very good condition.

1a. Netware 5 Administration – Course 560 – In this course you learn
how to accomplish fundamental network management tasks on a NetWare 5
network. This course is for students interested in gaining Certified
Novell Administrator (CNA) and Certified Novell Engineer (CNE)
certifications. Book is in fair condition with all pages intact. This
book is Revision 1.0.

1b. Networking Technologies Volumes 1 and 2 – Course 565 – This course
introduces the basic concepts, processes, and rules used in designing
and implementing large and small computer networks. It is designed as
a beginning technical course for CNE candidates. Course 565 is in my
opinion the most difficult course in the CNE track; as such the books
have my lecture and certification test notes on nearly every page.
These books are very well used, but all pages and book covers are
intact. Volume 2 is in slightly better condition than Volume 1. These
are great books reference books but can be confusing to a beginner, or
to someone who has only studied Microsoft Networking essentials or the
CompTIA Network Plus material. Volumes 1 and 2 are Revision 1.0.

1c. Netware 5 Advanced Administration – Course 570 – This course
provides you with the knowledge and skills needed to configure and
administer a complex network. The course is designed to provide you
with an advanced skill set and abilities to handle more challenging
network situations than were presented in the NetWare 5 administration
course (book a in this list). This book is in good to very good
condition with very few handwritten notes. This is Revision 1.0b

1d. Service and Support – Course 580 – In this course you learn how to
prevent, diagnose, and resolve hardware-related problems encountered
when working with NetWare. This course helps you prepare for test
50-635. This is a very good book and the concepts presented here are
sound for any PC or network troubleshooting situation. If you have a
background in repair you might find some of the information to be a
review of what you already know, but the book does a good job not only
with technical information but also with troubleshooting concepts and
theory. This is probably one of the most helpful classes in the CNE
track. (my own personal, biased, and unsolicited opinion). This is
Revision 1.0.

1e. NDS Design and Implementation, course 575 – CD ONLY, book is in
pdf format on the CD.

2. NDS for NT, isbn 0-7645-4551-5 – Master the Five Essentials for
Desiging NDS Trees in a Mixed Environment:

_Base your NDS tree design on your LAN or WAN infrastructure
_Divide NDS into partitions and replicas
_Use NDS objects to define organization, administration, and user
access
_Configure time synchronization to support NDS operations.
_Install and design NDS for NT.
The book is in fair to good condition; some wear on the back cover and
a crease on the front cover. Binding is good and all pages are intact.

3. User Manuals –
3a. Ontrack Data Recovery for NetWare – includes disk, never opened

3c. Netware 5 Overview and Installation

4. CDs –

4a. BindView bv-Control for NDS eDriectory v7.5, Special classroom
copy

4d. Netware 5 Online Documentation
4e. Netware Support Connection and software evaluation library,
primarily for the year 2000. Too many titles to list but if you are
looking for a specific title please ask and I'll let you know.

5. Study Guide – Accelerated CNA Netware 5 CNA, Exam #050-413, Dorothy
Cady, isbn 0-07-134532-9. From the back cover: "It's all here:
everything you need to approach the exam with confidence, in a handy,
study-anywhere format. The Accelerated NetWare 5 CNA Study Guide
provides exactly the kind of guidance necessary to get you ready for
the Novell CNA exam – the vital test that provides the right
credentials for administering 70% of the world's networks."
**I disagree ;-) but it is a good pocket style reference. I didn't
find it too helpful in test prep.** This book is in good condition,
with some handwritten notes in the pages and light wear on the cover.
The binding is good and all pages are intact.
