| Hi,
I am new to the field of certification. I have decided to go in for
MCSD first as I already know a little of VB. However, I plan to
collect information on as many cert exams available to decide what to
opt for next? Please provide me with some information on cne exams.
Where will I find the exam objectives? Where to look for certguides,
preptests, prepguides etc. What material is the best? Will this exam
add value?
Please provide me with this bit of information.

| Well it looks as if microsoft is covering the market, but I cant see
them wiping Novell out totally. If you want an over view of all the
tests and various study materials, sign up at www.cramsession.com.
Its free to view everything but you can't print it unless you
pay.(just copy and paste it into a doc). This is the best site ive
found for the price they charge. It looks good on a resume to
understand both networks especially those who are thinking about
converting for novell to microsoft.

| Hi
Thanks, Mike for such enrching information on cne. Well, cram session
is really good. Mike do you have any idea on which core and electives
to select for MCSD? Also, I will be highly obliged if you can provide
some information on the books and preptests to purchase.

| Lisa,
To be honest with you, I do no know that much about the MCSD series.
Im more in the networking feild than the developing feild. I know all
the requirements for MCSD are at this site
http://www.microsoft.com/traincert/...mentsdotnet.asp
The best study materials to buy are microsoft. Its going to cost you
a lil extra and its going to be harder to digest, but we're not kids
any more. I dont know how much experience you have in that field but
there are other books that break it down simpler but dont cover all
you need. I would stay with microsoft. I have multiple materials for
the MCSE track which goes along the networking with CNE, but that is
all. Sorry i wasnt much help.
Mike
