| For what are you trying to get an IP address? If you are running a small
network, remember to give the computer that will be designated as a server a
STATIC IP ADDRESS... If you are trying to get an IP address off of your ISP,
call them and ask if your IP address should be static, and if so what it is.
Need more info on your situation.
