| Since reporting our "Spammer" (or spoofer) to his ISP for his abuse has put
me in the unenviable position of being his chief target, I feel that I can
no longer be a viable contributor to this group for the foreseeable future.
There is too much of a chance that erroneous information, posted by him in
my name, may be taken seriously by some, possibly causing them to damage
their systems or their clients' systems, based on "my" bad advice.
Subsequently, I am taking a hiatus from this newsgroup (and the others
shown) until things return to normal.
I've written a "bot" that will scan these groups for "From" and "Subject"
data, and will forward any original posts that include my name to the
"abuse" email address shown in the poster's header information. Please do
NOT respond to anything this infantile moron posts in my name.
I will monitor the group periodically to watch for a return to normalcy, and
will become an active participant when I feel confident that the group is no
longer being plagued by this delinquent child.

| Sorry to see you disappear, W.F. Hope you're back real soon and this loser
disappears. Rest assured you haven't been the only one passing in the abuse
reports to the many ISPs he uses. Obviously a low IQ troll that has a bee in
his bonnet because he failed to get his A+ or some other certification...

Nice! If the abuse addresses only give automated replies, then you can
certainly initiate it with an automated submission.
Good show W.F. in matching the spammer's gambit, quality always outlasts
quantity!

OK, with hindsight I guess it does look suspicious however there are more
than one person using NTL World. I changed my name and 'e-mail' address in
that (and this) posting because.. well you know why! Any support or even
vague attack and you're next on the spoofing list. Have a look through all
the legitimate postings and you'll see a few sent through NTL World. I HAVE
posted with my real name and will be doing again when I can think of
something worthwhile to say or ask. Keep banging in the abuse reports (which
I assure you I AM DOING!) because I have nothing to hide. When NTL, Tiscali,
Giganews, et al, have shut down his accounts you will still be seeing NTL
postings from me - I guarantee it.
